 The Ninth Annual Silverton Kicksled Rodeo is scheduled for February 4, 2006. We'll have relay races, the Ben Hur, children's races, a sure-to-be-chaotic Dog Race, and the new Endurance Race.
We've included here pictures from the last few Silverton Kicksled Rodeos. The tradition has grown: the first annual rodeo had just 12 people attending, while the 7th annual had over 70. Not bad for a town with a winter population of 500.
At right is Avalanche Coffee House proprietor Jay Canode competing in the slalom.
Come join us this winter -- fun is guaranteed, and there are prizes for all!
